Many thanks to Max Harrison and Mike Kubis at M2 Gallery for hosting our first texasWAX members exhibition. It was hot, hot, hot, and I don't just mean the 90 degree temperature outside the gallery!
A great turnout and wonderful reception.

I look forward to, “degrees” a group exhibition bringing together encaustic artists from Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. Each city group make up the larger texasWAX network and members from one group are encouraged to submit works for or attend functions presented by any other group within the system. Fantastic artists from four of Texas’ most incredible cities, “It can’t get much hotter, can it?” The mercury is rising with anticipation of this event. Slip into something cool because “degrees” turns up the heat and shows Texans “the power of art.”
