June and the Conference

It is June and conference time again. I am flying out in tomorrow morning, destination Boston and points beyond. Looking forward to the cooler weather, renewing older acquaintances, meeting new folks I've only met on-line, talking art, and, well, isn't that enough? On the way home I will spend a few days in New York visiting another artist friend.

Our Degrees show ended Sunday. It was a great run. Good comments, sales and lots of visitors. Thanks to all who helped make the exhibition a success. Special thanks to Max Harrison and Mike Kubis at M2 Gallery for sharing their space and all their hard work.

Other things happening: Deanna Wood of the Dallas/WAX has a new gig in Richardson, TX.
She and Bonny Leibowitz have opened The Encaustic Center focusing on painting in wax "in all its various forms."

See you at the conference.
